Sean E. O’Brien

Founder, Chief Executive Officer

Dr. O’Brien has over 20 years of diverse experience in the drug discovery and development field and has expertise in business development, corporate strategy, and oncology therapeutic programs. He has successfully directed multiple programs, spanning from discovery and lead optimization to preclinical Research & Development activities through to Phase II clinical trials. Prior to founding Sisu, Dr. O'Brien led the development of and steered first-in-class agents through to proof-of-concept trials at Cylene Pharmaceuticals and Senhwa Biosciences. Dr. O'Brien holds a Ph.D. in applied quantum chemistry from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST).
